Eheeee hadiah bday aku :DRaya aku tahun ni, sgtlah uneventful (unless you count the unfortunate thievery).No fire crackers. Only got to visit one house in Kedah. And one in Johor.Oh, baked choc chip cookies with Moony, watched Drag Me To Hell with cousins (jijik) & Fooled around with cousin's polaroid cam.
geeds> uh, my duit raya was okay. been receiving less by each year. *sigh*boxie>velvet underground macam jadi cd dalam kereta during the journey. though not everyone (no one) liked it. i went to a few houses and kenduris and majlis akad nikah. so not bad. no mercun, because tak sempat beli. satay and laksa; ate lots of em. it was not particularly boring; just a little ordinary, like it has always been. though i did came to decide to appreciate it a bit more since raya next year would be in australia. so i came to know a lot of stuff about uh, the family history; one being that my mother was actually adopted, the other about my dad's dead brother i've never heard of. tapi aku malas cerita.
Haha! Aku pun telah burn satu CD utk perjalanan ke kmpng. Samalah. Aku saja yg suka. Well, Adi telah didedahkan dgn sedikit sebanyk bahan2 The Strokes. So, die sukalah lagu2 strokes at least.Raya aku yg paling bermemori probly masa darjah 2-6 di penang. We bombarded the neighbour's dog (across the street)with firecrackers. And had a sort of firecracker war with the next door neighbour. I think we scratched some cars too =.='Ha'ah ye…kau akan beraya di Aussie mcm ain next year.
ah, raya masa kecik. those are the best. my brothers and i, we'd go to the playground dekat tepi bukit (sebelah tnb tu) after terawih and watch all the other kids play bunga api and mercun. and play some of our own. though one day there was this kid who blew up the neighbour's peti surat besi. macam bomb doh bunyi. freaked out, they called the police and investigated all the suspected kids in the area in the middle of the night. abang aku. of course, takde orang kena tangkap. they maintained absolute secrecy.only about three weeks ago my brother revealed who was the culprit. budak jiran sebelah. he was mad after the pakcik took his gameboy for a day kat surah sebab buat bising dan tak sembahyang terawih. sweet revenge huh?
i had some time in the morning to celebrate raya at m'sian hall here although i had to go to tutorial in the afternoon. anyway, it's quite a nice raya with all the open houses by students. murah rezeki dgn free foods this raya.. 🙂
