he knows

Today, she came again to see him. He might not even remember her, but don’t fret; there’s always that yellow card where he can check up on her all too recently past, so he reads for a while, prepping himself up, and calls her inside.

He asks her what was wrong, she replies oh a bit of a headache is all.

-how long
-a week or so
-did you take any meds
-ah nope i am too lazy
-but why bother to come today
-i wanted some meds

A paradox.

She turns her back while he examines her breath, slowly. She made sure she lets go very slowly to produce irregular effects. But she knows, that he knows.

-can you sleep
-oh yeah, a little

He scribbles something down, and then says he’s done.

-that’s it? what about sleeping pills
-you gotta help yourself. as long as you’re dependent on it you’re never gonna get better.

She frowns. He looks at her attentively, lets go an ultimate sigh.

motivate yourself to sleep.
-oh

He scrawls something down on another paper, after asking, how many days she wants. She lifts two fingers. He obliges, when he gives all the other people only a day off. Heck, even if she asks for a week, he’d probably give it too.

Because she knows, that he knows

  1. Haha yeah now that I read it again. It ain't subtle at all. Perhaps vague in an almost aggresive way. An author writes from the heart. You are, afterall, full of contradictions.

  3. Please. Everything you wrote (ones that I've read at least) is coloured with things that you are, wants to be, is interested in, fascinated by etc.Why would anybody write something they have no interest in anyway. Unless it's homework of course.

  4. those are themes. not what i feel and think. not neccesarily from the HEART, anyway. I hate that sentence. it reminds me of someone.but we writers tend to lie, don't we? okay fine fine pot you win.lemme explain what the story is all about. its about a trip to a clinic, to see a random doctor, which suprisingly is the same doc as before. so having the patients' history, he already knows why she came there in the first place, and doesn't really entertain her. he knows the tricks, and so did what he had to do.much less interesting that way, isn't it?
