I find that living a passive life is unbecoming of me. It is enough that I seem to stumble from one place to the next, without any heart towards anything. To strive towards an absolute nothing only works if nothing means one has gone beyond all that is attainable, not when one has declared defeat in the face of anything that comes toward oneself.
