i found this really ancient book from naquib al-attas which has got holes and badly wrapped though pretty much in a good condition. the 1963 first printed edition . sufism among the malays. smells real good. mungkin buku paling aku tak sangka boleh jumpa semalam. terima kasih klab.
perhaps i might want to look into all of his works. in time. i don’t think they sell many of his books around. so many great people and writers and critical thinkers in this country somewhat remain unrecognized among the young people. he’s interesting to read. somehow i think those born in times of great wars and many great conflicts and have to strive harder, are more prone to write interesting books. i’m a bastard who basks in all things good, eating ice cream with cherry on top, occasionally quabbling over how unfair life is. how boring. we need more romanticism around here. so,
malam ni aku nak main bunga api sorang-sorang.
\”We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won't. We're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.\”(Tyler Durden, Fight Club)Heh.

It is? I dunno, I just like it. Kinda fits with your whole: \”somehow i think those born in times of great wars and many great conflicts and have to strive harder, are more prone to write interesting books. i'm a bastard who basks in all things good, eating ice cream with cherry on top, occasionally quabbling over how unfair life is.*shrug*
